Welcome Message

Temple Kol Shalom welcomes our Foothill and Sacramento-area neighbors seeking a URJ Affiliated Reform Jewish congregation in El Dorado Hills.

At Kol Shalom we celebrate our Jewish tradition in a friendly atmosphere that encourages a feeling of community. Dual-faith and diverse families will find a warm welcome here as we observe our Jewish tradition through festive holiday celebrations and worship services.

From our Spiritual Leader

Shalom! It is a pleasure to greet you! Temple Kol Shalom is committed to be a congregation which enjoys the learning, community and worship opportunities and dual-faith families. Because of our intimate size, we enjoy our High Holy Days and Friday night Kabballat Shabbat services as a unified group as well as the celebrations of the holidays. Our Sunday school is lively and song filled. We hope you will join us. It is a great opportunity to learn together as well as to learn about each other!

From Our President
Welcome to the Temple Kol Shalom Website!  I have been a member of this congregation for over ten years and can’t imagine what my life would be like without this wonderful supportive Jewish community.  Our members are Jews by birth and by choice, as well as non-Jewish spouses and partners.  Some of our members are very knowledgeable about Judaism, and some have joined us without much prior Jewish experience.  We create a sense of extended family by celebrating life cycle events and Jewish holidays together.  We are open to anyone interested in participating in Jewish study, ritual, and culture.  If you would like additional information, please feel free to contact me at president@templekolshalom.org.
