Welcome Message

Temple Kol Shalom welcomes our Foothill and Sacramento-area neighbors seeking a URJ Affiliated Reform Jewish congregation in the Western Sierra Foothills.  Our services are held in Cameron Park, in space we share with the Spiritual Center for Positive Living.  Our Sunday School meets in Shingle Springs.

At Kol Shalom we celebrate our Jewish tradition in a friendly atmosphere that encourages a feeling of community. Dual-faith and diverse families will find a warm welcome here as we observe our Jewish tradition through festive holiday celebrations and worship services.

Free Open to the Public

Jewish People worldwide will observe Jewish New Year 5775 starting the evening of September 24th.

The Jewish High Holidays begin with Rosh Hashanah, the New Year - and conclude 10 days later with Yom Kippur , The Day of Atonement.  In Jewish tradition, Rosh Hashanah commemorates the anniversary of the creation of the world.  Yom Kippur is often referred to as the Day of Atonement and is the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.  The time between these two holidays is special and observant Jews focus on repentance, forgiving and making amends during this time.

No tickets are required, however donations are welcome.
